Were you and I having a conversation about this happening to your friends bling crankset a few weeks ago, and yours being Ultrega, or was that someone else?

Did you strip the spindle or did the nuts loosen up and just let everything come loose?

Reminds me of my buddy who had a one-pedaled bike for riding around campus so he wouldn’t have to lock it up .
Bike got stolen.

Specia l ies or SRMA crankset?
Alternately, frame still under warranty?

It’s a very Specialised bicycle now! I’m thinking you’ve either snapped the BB spindle or the drive side crank/spindle interface has failed and slipped.

Stripped out or just loose?
![]() 09/03/2020 at 23:31 |

That’s the most likely scenario, but having it come loose could also have led to the spindle getting stripped out. I look forward to hearing about your findings!

Hmmm... looks like a problem.... unless you only have one leg.
